  3. Can you think of one Indian Tribe from Indiana? We are going to talk about the Miami, and Indian tribe from the north part of Indiana, and their Chief, Little Turtle!

  4. Who is Little Turtle? Little Turtle was the Chief of the Miami Indian Tribe in Indiana. He was known for being very smart. He led his warriors into battle so that they could keep their land from the colonists trying to settle there.

  5. A Pretty Big Deal! Little Turtle led tribes against the United States Army to ensure that his people kept their lands. He also played a really large role in a couple of major battles, including the famous battle in Indiana, the Battle of Fallen Timbers! A REALLY COOL SLIDE IS COMING UP NEXT.. GET READY!!
