This study focuses on the interaction dynamics between the eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4 gamma (eIF4G) and Hepatitis A Virus (HAV) proteins, particularly the 3C and 3ABC mutants. Using both in vitro and in vivo assays, we explore the molecular mechanisms underlying viral manipulation of the host translation machinery. Key data include quantitative assessments of protein interactions and their impact on translation efficiency, alongside graphical representations (Fig. S1, S2, S3) for clarity. Results suggest significant functional implications in viral replication.
