Hand Ball

In soccer, a hand ball is called when the ball touches an outfield player's hand or arm during play. The ruling can lead to a free kick or penalty, depending on the player's intent and position at the time of contact. If the contact is deemed unintentional, the game typically continues, as it is subject to the referee's judgment. For example, if a ball is kicked at a player from a short distance, the referee may decide that the player did not have enough time to move their hand away, resulting in no foul call.

  1. Hand Ball Hand ball: hand balls are called in the game when the ball hits the hand/arm of an outfield player while in play. Depending on the player’s positioning and depending on the intension of the ball hitting someone’s hand can determine whether it’s a free kick/penalty(in or out the box) and also a card may be shown. But if the ball hits the hand of a player not intentionally then the game will carry on play, this is depending on how the referee sees it and anticipates it.  E.g. if the ball is kicked at a player 3yards away from him then the referee may see it as he couldn’t react quick enough to move his hand out the way in time.
