  6. ‘Al Sulokeyat Al Salema’ 2003 This is no longer acceptable and Halliburton employees, Contractors and visitors to our facilities must follow safety procedures and information including our ‘House Rules’ It is clear that within our industry safety performance can only be improved through directly addressing and promoting consistent safe behaviour

  9. ‘Al Sulokeyat Al Salema’ 2003 Fundamental Safety Principles Everyone is accountable for following safety rules If in doubt safety always takes priority Safe practices and procedures must always be followed Always challenge ‘At Risk Behaviours’, omissionsor hazardous conditions Report all incidents and hazardous situations- if unsure report anyway Work must be authorised before it commences Stop any work activity if you feel unsafe oruncomfortable and always communicateyour concerns

  10. ‘Al Sulokeyat Al Salema’ 2003 The behaviours we all need to follow to improve safety performance are not complex The behaviours contained within the Halliburton ‘House Rules’ are: • Easily followed • Clearly visible and so we can all observe, correct or support them • Beneficial at home • Often seen as causation factors in incidents when they are not followed

Use the correct manual handling techniqueif manual handling cannot be avoided. Use the right tool in the right way for the job. Hold the handrail on stairs. Wear vehicle seat beltsand never use a mobile phone when driving. Wear and maintain the appropriate PPE. Keep work sites clean, tidy and obstruction free. Through maintaining our responsibilities there is no need to worry about accountabilities
