  4. Huawei eNB LMT(Local Maintenance Terminal) • The eNBLMT deploys the eNBand identifies and clears faults. • Use the LMT to operate and maintain the Huawei eNB

  5. Huawei LMT Alarm/Event: eNB status • Showing faults of eNBs in the following level • Critical alarm: : requires immediate actions even during non-working hours. • Major alarm: requires immediate action during working hours. • Minor alarm: generally does not affect service quality • Warning alarm: indicates a potential error

  6. Huawei LMT Alarm/Event Example: “SCTP Link Fault” • Main reason of control plane failure • Possible causes - A failure link between EPC and eNB - Failure links to the peer devices - SCTP is blocked - Inconsistent parameters with peer devices - The peer device is faulty
