How to Play con't • To "capture" the opponent's piece, surround it on all sides • Here, the white pieces surround the black piece and it is taken off the board • The rule of "Ko" prevents back-and-forth capturing • After the black pieces capture the white, white piece 2 in the second diagram cannot capture black piece 1
