Board Endorsement >>>> it will be sent to the Council and Parliament + published (probably after summer break)

  9. FVE • FCI = connect and manage food safety risks • Private practitioners and CAs can be more active throughout the FCI • FCI for FBOs method of adding value and integrate their farm suppliers • FCI = full expression to the EU "prevention is better than cure"

UECBV • FCI = unclear – Too general • PH risks at other steps (e.g. transport - retail) • Balance between FS/AH/AW & livestock production needed > impact the responsibility for cost attribution Copa-Cogeca • Strengthening FCI (farm level > voluntary quality systems - preferred to HACCP systems at primary production) • Consider slaughtering processes • Dressing operations (if carried out by the same worker) > NO increased microbiological risks
