  3. 1 NSW DET, CLI summary • NSW DET • Largest single organisation, public or private, in Australia, with recurrent budget of $7.9 billion (2007/08) • Schools • c. 740,000 students attend NSW government schools • 2,200 school locations throughout NSW • TAFE NSW • c. 460,000 TAFE enrolments • 10 Institutes with more than 130 campuses in NSW • Centre for Learning Innovation (CLI) • Centre for Learning Innovation (CLI), formed 2004, includes Learning Technology Standards team.
