Officer Overtime • Texas Code of Criminal Procedure 102.011 (i) • (i) In addition to fees provided by Subsections (a) through (g) of this article, a defendant required to pay fees under this article shall also pay the costs of overtime paid to a peace officer for time spent testifying in the trial of the case or for traveling to or from testifying in the trial of the case.

Texas Open Records Act • 552 Government Code • An open and transparent govt is best for everyone. • You may have public information at a minimum during business hours • You must make a written request. • It can be emailed or faxed. • It must be a document which exists. • There are exceptions ( Subchapter C)
