God Is With Us in Political Inconvenience: (Luke 2:1-3) Luke 2:1-3 (ESV) 1 In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. 2 This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria. 3 And all went to be registered, each to his own town. God Divine GPS to get this couple where they were supposed to deliver the Christ-child according to the prophets.

God Is With Us in Humble Circumstances: (Luke 2:7) Jesus was born into a corruptible world full of sin and selfishness, greed and unkindness. ·    the world (represented in the innkeeper) was so wrapped up in its affairs that it could not help a woman bearing a child. ·    no one would make room for Mary in the inn. Money and personal comfort were more important to all who had become aware of the situation.
