  1. ==THE IMPORTANCE OF PDHPE== • Personal Development Health Physical Education

PDHPE is great for helping students to understand themselves and the world around them, as they grow and develop. • PDHPE is more than just playing games its about learning about being healthy – physically, by being active and eating right; and mentally by understanding their bodies and emotions. Learn!!

  3. PDHPE is important for all young students education. For students to grow into healthy adults and build a positive future, it is necessary for them to have a solid understanding of their development and core values as members of society.

  4. PE • Physical Education is the part of PDHPE that covers physical activities such as sport, games, and most importantly – FUN! • It aims to engage learners in ways to be fit and active and greatly increases their quality of life by allowing students to fully interact with world around them.

  5. Personal Development & Health aims to provide information and advice to students about personal and social issues that can affect them as they move through life. • e.g. Drug Education • Sex Education/ Sexuality • Nutrition • Healthy life choices PDH
