  6. Catahoula Leopard Dog Catahoula Leopard Dogs are native to Louisiana. They were bred by Indians and early settlers.

  7. Crawfish Crawfish, also known as crawdads or crayfish, are an important part of the food chain. Almost every thing eats them including people!

  8. Black Bears Black bears live in Louisiana. They can come in many different colors, even pale blue!

  10. Mardi Gras Mardi Gras, a celebration before Lent, has lots of cool floats. Everybody loves Mardi Gras beads!

  11. New Orleans, Most Haunted City This is one of the haunted hotels in New Orleans. The ghost of Lafitte is said to haunt the bar.

  12. Cajuns The red spots are where Cajuns live. Cajun music

  14. French Quarter There are lots of street performers in the French Quarter. The French Quarter is very busy.

  15. Avery Island Avery Island is famous for its Tabasco Factories. Tabasco Factories make lots of Tabasco Sauce.

  16. Swamp Tour You can see lots of alligators on swamp tours. There are also turtles and herons. Swamps are very pretty.

  17. Alligators Alligators everywhere! Better make sure the railings are tall…

  18. Elvis Elvis the alligator is so cute! He is only about three months old.
