A Brief History • Established in 1998 from merger of WHO Centre for Organisational Health & Development (School of Psychology) and Centre for Health Services Management (Business School) • Independent school within the Faculty of Law, Social Sciences & Education: 2002 • With the School of Psychology formed the University’s ‘psychology group’ for UK government’s Teaching Quality Assessment (1998): 24/24 (with commendation for teaching) • Returned with Business School in Research Assessment Exercise (2002): 5B rating (international research) • Has had a presence in Kuala Lumpur (UNMC) since 2006
