  3. What I Believe • Adult reflection is needed for improving instructional practices. • Focus on teaching and learning, • RTI2, formative and summative data, • Parent involvement • PLCs • Using curriculum maps and TN standards to prepare ALL students for College, Career, and Workforce readiness.

Take Stock of the Flock • Know the Condition of Your Flock • Know and follow the status of your people as well as the status of the work. • Get to know your flock, one sheep at a time. • Keep your eyes and ears open, question, & follow through. • The Way of the Shepherd • Dr. Kevin Leman & Bill Pentak

  6. Current LCSS Pastures • RTI2 Coordinators in all elementary schools • RTI2 District Coordinator • RTI2 procedures in elementary schools • Lower teacher/pupil ratios in lower grades • Level 4/5 System

  7. Goals of Future Flock • Reading on grade level by 3rd Grade • TN Ready • HS Graduation • ACT • College Level Learning • Workforce Experience

  8. LCSS Overarching Goals • To graduate LCSS students • College and Career Ready • To have 90% of LCSS students reading on level by 3rd grade • Tokeepstudents on grade level • To improve ACT scores • College Career Readiness experiences
