  3. Toowoomba Base Hospital • Hands on • Good doctor to student ratio (Rotations of 6-7) • Mixture of public and private hospitals (St. Vincent’s and St. Andrew’s) • Doctors make the effort… this is key • Research • Tutes • Extra experience

  4. Accommodation • 3 sets of accommodation • 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom and 4 bedroom units available • Subsidised • $1000/yr (including utilities + internet)

  5. What to do when not thinking about medicine… • Your normal stuff plus: • Hiking • Markets (Sunday morning) • Ground Up (Also when you are thinking about medicine) • So close to Brisbane that you can go back for all med eventsor haircuts • Flying Lessons • Salsa • Social Tennis Comps (BYO) • Rugby • Aquatic Centre • Great Bands at The Spotted Cow
