  1. There are thirty different modes of operation that can programmed. Each mode can be vary in seal temperature, drive speed, and component activation. Each mode of operation can also be named such as, “3oz Bags”, “4oz Bags”, “One-Shot”, “Empty Bags” etc. To begin setup, press the ‘Mode Setup’ button. Single Head Packaging Machines

  2. Mode Setup Choose the mode number that you would like to setup. Then press ‘Edit’.

  3. Edit 1, 2, 3 Each output controls a different component on the machine. Each output can be set to be on continuously, intermittently, or off. If intermittently is selected, you must choose at which position in the drive cycle that the output will turn on and which position it will turn off. (The cycle is at 0 when the end seal is almost at the top of its’ stroke)

  4. Edit 4 ‘Bags/Min’ is how fast the machine will run in this mode. ‘Temp. Offset’ is how far below the temperature drops below the set point before the heater will turn on. ‘Dump Count’ is the number of counts the auger will turn each cycle. ‘Set Point’ is the temperature set points of the heaters.

  5. Batch Setup ‘Batch Delay’ is the number cycles that the machine will idle in between batches. ‘Batch Count’ is the number of bags the make up a batch.

  6. Edit Name ‘Change Name’ allows you to label the mode that you have just setup. Once you are satisfied with your setup, press ‘Save Changes’.

  7. Controls You can now run the machine in the mode that you have setup. Choose the mode that you would like to run then press “Run/Stop”. You can adjust the “Bags/Min” and “Dump Count”while you are running for fine tuning.

  8. Heaters This screen allows you to turn the heaters so they have time to preheat. ‘Set Point’ will let you fine tune the heaters while you are running.

  9. Resets This screen is used to notify you that a motor has tripped out. You must reset the motor overload or drive then press ‘Reset’ on the screen.

  10. Maintenance This screen is used for maintenance and troubleshooting. You can turn on and off each component individually from this screen.

  11. Bag Count This screen lets you monitor and reset the number of bags and batches that have been produced.
