  3. Engineering and Design Ramapo UP Program

  4. Indian Hills UP Programs • International Studies and Business • Science, Medicine and Research

  5. Overall Criteria • Expressed interest and commitment to program • Academic grades of “B” or higher in middle school • Teacher and Counselor recommendations

  6. Application Process • Same application for all UP programs • Indicate 1st and 2nd choice on the application • Application available on our website www.rih.org

  7. Application includes: Student Information: • Student data • Student essay • Statement of parental endorsement Deadline: December 3, 2013

  8. Follow up to Application • Curriculum Office will contact middle schools after student applications are received. • Information provided by middle schools: • Teacher recommendations • Counselor recommendation • Academic transcript and standardized test scores

  9. Decisions • Applications are reviewed by a Selection Committee. • Decisions will be mailed during the week of February 3, 2014
