  2. All Aboard! Cute, lovable, huggable, I just want to give a harp seal a big squeeze when I see one. I know you’ll think that, too. So hop on board and come on a harp seal adventure!

  3. Glorious Tundra Wow! You can find harp seals in a lot of cold places. A harp seals habitat is made up of the shores of North Atlantic oceans as well as arctic oceans from Russia, Greenland, to Canada. I told you they live in a lot of places. Lets jump into some more harp seal facts.

  4. Yum, Yum ,Yum! Yum, I am hungry for something delicious! Harp seals favorite treats are shrimp, squid, anchovy, smelt and crustaceans. They swallow their food whole. Harp seals hunt for their food in the ocean. They catch it in their mouth and bring it back to their babies. Would you like to do that?

  5. Harp babies Slurp, slurp goes the little baby harp seal as it drinks it mama’s milk. Did you know a harp seal needs it mothers milk to grow a thick layer of blubber to keep warm? Harp seals are born in the spring. When they’re born they have white fur and they are called white coat seals. When they grow, they molt and turn a different color. That’s what happens to baby harp seals.

  6. Facts Have you heard the harp seal belongs to a group of mammals called pinnipeds? Harp seals are related to walruses and sea lions. Can you believe adult seals can sleep while floating in the water? They also can migrate over 3,000 miles.
