  2. Why Napster? • Napster provides a cheap and legal means for download of digital music • Music can easily be transferred to portable device.

  3. Searching and Downloading • Select artist, song, or album you wish to search for. • In the upper right hand corner a small bar with artist will be showing. Based on your search preference, click the scroll bar and select either “artist”, “album”, or “song”. • In the search box next to the scroll bar, enter the name of the arist/album/song. • Click the search button.

  5. Searching and downloading • The search results will be located at the bottom of the page. Scroll through this list until you find your specific song. • To preview the song, left click and drag it to the play list on the left hand side of the screen. A thirty second preview will be played. • To download the song, click the “Buy song” button. If you are a subscriber, just right-click the song and click download.
