  1. Apoquel for Dogs Apoquel is a fast acting formula that treats pruritis caused due to allergic dermatitis and atopic dermatitis in dogs. Manufactured by Zoetis, these anti-inflammatory tablets provide relief within 4 hours of administration and by 24 hours complete itching is alleviated. Moreover, Apoquel can be safely used in dogs that weigh more than 6.6 pounds and are at least 12 months old. Other than that, Apoquel can also be used concomitantly with other treatments which include NSAIDS, parasiticides, anti-fungals, anti- infectives and allergen specific immunotherapy.   2. •Oclacitinib maleate Direction for Use Apoquel tablets must be administered orally as per the weight of the dog. Dosage: Weight Amount 6.6 -9.9 lbs ½ tablet of 3.6 mg twice daily until 14 days 10-14.9 lbs ½ tablet of 5.4 mg twice daily until 14 days 15-19.9 lbs 3.6 mg tablet twice daily until 14 days 20-29.9 lbs 5.4 mg tablet twice daily until 14 days 30-44.9 lbs ½ tablet of 16mg twice daily until 14 days 45-59.9 lbs 2 tablets of 5.4mg twice daily until 14 days 60-89.9 lbs 1 tablet of 16mg twice daily until 14 days 90-129.9 lbs 1 ½ tablet of 16mg twice daily until 14 days 130-175.9 lbs 2 tablets of 16mg twice daily until 14 days Safety •Do not use Apoquel in dogs that are less than 12 months old or weigh less than 6.6 pounds. •The product must not be used in breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs. •Keep the product out of reach of children and other pets. •Wash hands after handling the product. •Store it in a cool and dry place.
