  3. Changes for School Year 2011-2012

  4. Hepatitis A:Not-So-New-Anymore Requirement • Dose 1 required for children 18 months and older to in childcare, preschool, Head Start, kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade • Dose 2 required by 12 months after the first dose • Hepatitis A will be phased in: • One grade level per year through 5th grade in 2013-2014 • All grades through 12th in 2014-2015

  5. Students now in grades 3-8 will be required to have Hepatitis A vaccine before they graduate!

  6. Tdap:Not-So-New-Anymore Requirement • One dose of Tdap is required for all 7th-10th graders by Exclusion Day 2012 • Tdap will be phased in: • One grade level per year, finishing with 12th grade in 2013-2014 CDC Public Health Image Library ID#2121
