  2. Let God Pay Back EvilWe must focus on Doing Good! “Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord. Therefore ‘if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink…’ (Romans 12:19-21)

  3. The only people you should try to get even with are those who have helped you. “See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people.” -- 1 Thessalonians 5:15

  4. “Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.” -- Romans 12:17

  5. Never allow the milk of human kindness to curdle! “Do not let kindness and truth leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.” -- Proverbs 3:3

  6. Remember that Your Reward is from the Lord! “But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great…” (Luke 6:35) “He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, And He will pay back what he has given.” (Proverbs 19:17)
