Instructions(this slide should be deleted before final hand-in) • This is an OCR National Unit 1 evidence book. • The yellow slides contain information on what you will need to do to achieve a pass. They are all compulsory (have to do) elements. • The blue slide contain information on how to achieve merit and distinction grades. These slides are not compulsory (discuss these with your teacher). • The information within the slides is for instruction only and can not be used as evidence, it must be deleted and replaced with your ownwork. • The only thing that willremain the same on the slides is the title which contains important assessment references. If you are not sure try using the help information on the main toolbar of most applications. Teachers can give demonstrations of some application features to the class. (So pay attention!). • The difference between Merit and Distinction is often quality of explanation do not be afraid to add more slides if you want to put in more evidence to achieve these grades. A03c There will be some evidence that the candidate has checked for errors and the presentation will be largely fit for the purpose. • Screenshot the use of spell checking. • Describe how you watched the presentation and list any errors you might have found. A03aMCandidates will produce a business presentation of at least four slides (five for distinction) using appropriate text and graphics. • Describe how the text and graphics you have used are appropriate for the presentation. • For Example are they in a formal style, are the graphics helping the audience understand what the message of the slide is more easily. • Show your examples with screenshots.   7. A03bMD The presentation will have a consistent style. • Point out some style features that are the same in the presentation. E.G. Font, Colours, background.   8. A03cM Slide transitions will have been set, but these may not always be the most effective. • Show how to set slide transitions with a screenshot and describe how to do this here. OCR Unit 1 ICT Skills for Business

  9. A03dMThe presentation will be checked and free from obvious errors. • Check your presentation for Spelling Screenshot this. • Check your presentation for layout. • Check your presentation plays.   10. A03eMfD The candidate will print out the presentation in handout form. For Distinction include speaker notes in printout. • Show a screenshot of the printing settings used without actually printing. A03cDSlide transitions and animation will have been set and the presentation will have been checked to ensure it is appropriate to the purpose and audience. • Show how you used animation with screenshots. • Your presentation will also need to be handed in in digital format in order for this criteria to be checked. • You will need to point out at least four features of text, graphics, animation that have been selected to meet the needs of the audience reference these to slide numbers in your presentation.
