  1. “Every tooth in a man's head is more valuable than a diamond.” ~Miguel de Cervantes

  2. Tips To Maintain Healthy Teeth

  3. Begin Early Dental care should begin even before the first tooth emerges. How should it be done? Take a wet cloth and wipe the upper as well as the lower gums gently. This will help to get rid of food particles. Once the first tooth emerges use a soft tooth brush with water to clean it. You should not use toothpaste until your child learns to spit.

  4. First Dental Visit It is always recommended to take your child for their first dental checkup at age one or when their first tooth appears. Your dentist will provide tips and advice for your child’s dental development and prevent tooth decay.

  5. Brushing and Flossing Brushing twice a day is very important to maintain healthy gums and teeth. Flossing must begin when two teeth touch each other. This helps to remove the food particles trapped between the teeth.

  6. Healthy Diet Avoid sugary foods and drinks as much as possible. Candies and fruit chews should also be avoided which causes tooth decay in time. Instead, include vegetables, omega 3 oils, etc. into your child’s diet.
