FindMe - Compact Waterproof GPS Tracking Device

FindMe is a compact, waterproof GPS tracking device that allows continuous autonomous operation for satellite navigation monitoring. It features high-capacity battery cells, sensitive GPS and GSM modules, and the ability to store transaction data in EEPROM. The FindMe server ensures all device functionalities during operation time, and user intervention is not required for device maintenance or control.

  1. All devices of the same type without server application are initially losing, because the settings which are stored in them by the user,or may be irretrievably lost during a firmware failure and device can not obtain the desired functional • Knowing this, during the FindMe’s development phase we saved the device from variables conservation in its flash-memory • All transaction data of the deviceare stored in the EEPROM • In case the EEPROM breaks, FindMe will load the default settings of the flash-memory and connect to the server that will update its EEPROM • In a similar situation with other devices, they will get into the third state and will be lost for the client

FindMe algorithms operation control is made by the server. At the same time algorithms are more streamlined as compared to devices with similar functionality, thereby providing a much lower power consumption and longer life • The main task of the FindMe server is to ensure all the functional possibilities of the device during the operation time (up to 2 years) • FindMe does not keeps any data on the client and schedule • Server assigns variablesfor each subsequent session • The end client has no ability to control FindMe algorithms access to the server or other algorithms

In addition to the coordinates and time, each of FindMe device transmits its technical parameters to the server:  battery power supply voltage, current consumption while connecting to the server, device speed, ambient temperature • FindMe server analyses each specific device parameters and adjust individually its operation schedule (the schedule can be affected by latitude, longitude, ambient temperature). For example, it allows you to consume batteries’ resource during the bitter frost (up to -30 ° C) more economical

  4. FindMe “device-server” platform is a dynamic (flexible designed). A small-scale batch of devices with different characteristics can be produced for specific problem. For example, a motor transport device can be produced, where FindMe will run from April to November, while all other time it will stay in storage modeautomatically

There is no need in after-sales customer service for FindMe dealers with a help of intuitive interface of server application and a detailed user manual, as well as unified technical support telephone number for the Russian Federation   • There is no need to receive sms-messages with the device viability information, control its charge or any other parameters • You don’t have to fulfil next actions: pay for sms-messages from the device, register extra sim-cards in your own name, remember the balance of funds held in the sim-card device or control the device with complex sms-codes

  7. FindMe server will notify user about the necessity to replace batteries upon reaching the critical charge value  • FindMe devices replacement is fulfiled by authorized dealers only • Unassisted replacement of power sources is PROHIBITED

  8. FindMe dealer will use service kit with client’s request to replace device upon the expiry of lifetime, which includes: - FindMe new case - service renewal card - a new power supply • This is guaranteed to bring additional income to all FindMe dealers after lifetime expiration

Coordinates determination technologies GPS (Global Positioning System) - is a space-based global navigation satellite system that provides location and time information almost anywhere on the Earth. The basic principle of the system operation is a location determination by measuring the distance to the object from points with known coordinates (satellites).   LBS (Location Based Services) is a technology that allows to determine coordinates not on satellite data, but with a help of the nearest GSM-stations. LBS technology positioning accuracy is somewhat lower than for GPS (GPS technology positioning accuracy is about 10-20 meters, and LBS technology - 200-500 meters).

  13. Simple activation of the device • Press and hold“ACT” button for 1-3 seconds (1) • Send an emptySMS-messageto the number, specified on the reverse side of FindMe device(2) (1) press (2) send SMS-message

  14. FindMe device search mode activation To activate search mode you mustsend an empty SMS-messageor message with device name to the number +7-911-770-8888. For example: SMS to the number +7-911-770-8888, text «My car» (without quotes). Within 5-20 minutes you will receivea message with informationabout search mode activationand estimated timeof FindMeconnection. AfterFindMedevice come in contact with a server, you will receive a message with coordinates and speed of the target object. Using internet-address, which is indicatedin the message, you can see an object location on the map.

  15. FindMe device search mode deactivation To deactivate search mode for one of the devices you need send an SMS with text «OFF <device name>» to the number +7-911-770-8888. E.g.: SMS to the number +7-911-770-8888, text «OFF My car» (without quotes). Within 5-20 minutesyou will receive a message with information about search mode deactivation.

  16. FindMe device status test To check the device statusyou must send an SMS with text «S» to the number +7-911-770-8888. Within 5-20 minutesyou will receive a message with status dataof all devices registered to your number.
