  1. Vetting Process for EOUs • Please see CSCOPE “12-13 Projected Posting Windows” for approximate time EOUs will be available in CSCOPE • See “Vetting Window” on Hays CISD End of Unit Assessment Calendars for each subject and grade level • Once EOU posted in CSOPE Teachers/PLCs should • Teacher PLCs take EOU, make notes regarding any changes that might need to be made to correct errors/tweak open ended assessment values • Submit notes • To CSCOPE • To HCISD Department of Assessment and Accountability via e-mail (harmerk@hayscisd.net) : subject line of e-mail should include Grade level, subject, and unit of test with changes detailed in body of e-mail • Changes to correct errors made and complete in eduphoria and on X Drive two weeks prior to earliest date for test • Once assessments are in eduphoria and on X Drive the only changes that will be made are to correct answers that are indisputably incorrect (hopefully these will be caught earlier in the process . . . )

  2. Schedule for Vetting, Entry, and Return of Data Process for developing timeline for EOUs: • Print YAG for each subject and grade level • Identify very earliest date that each unit could possibly be done • Vetting process begins five weeks before date in number 2—lasts for two weeks • Test in eduphoria and on X Drive one week after vetting process ends (two weeks prior to earliest possible date for test to allow campuses time to have test printed) • Analysis done of performance on SEs (by Joy) three weeks after date identified in #2 above. (Campuses should perform own analysis immediately after scanning)

  3. Required vs. Optional EOUs • High school campuses making decisions regarding EOUs in early August • Middle School Campuses have made decision to administer all EOUs • All elementary EOUs will be available in eduphoria! aware, but only some will be required • Process for choosing EOUs to require of elementary campuses: • Print YAG for each grade level (2-5) • Identify those tests that incorporate the most SEs • Study performance in reporting categories and on specific SEs. • Circle SEs on which we had lowest performance on YAG • If low SEs not tested on tests already chosen, choose those tests as well
