Concurrent programs • Green Corridors • Idle reduction and biofuels availability along interstate highways • Expanding TN Green Islands project throughout the SE – draft brochure and signage developed, roll out at SEDC Mtg • EPA Biofuels Strategy – WG completed document, present to Administrator this month for approval

Transportation Conformity • Transportation Conformity Final Rule Revisions • Incorporates SAFETEA-LU Revisions • January 24, 2008: Published in FederalRegister • February 25, 2008: Effective date • http://www.epa.gov/otaq/stateresources/transconf/conf-regs.htm • Planning Assumptions Guidance – coming Fall 2008 • New AQMTS Transportation Planning Contact – Dianna Smith, 404-562-9207

Transportation Conformity SIPs • Most states are 3 revisions behind. • Working with states to get updates made & to remove unnecessary SIP triggers (flexibility offered by passage of SAFETEA-LU). • Expecting SIP revisions by end of CY 2008 • Alabama only state that has completed SAFETEA-LU compliant SIP for Region 4 • SC and KY are up next based on prehearing/draft reviews
