  2. Objectives • Discuss what is new or changed • Address topics requested in the experienced DAC survey • Provide reminders of processes and policies that are frequently asked about by experienced DACs education.state.mn.us

  5. Optional Local Purpose Assessment(OLPA) • Optional online assessment • Cannot be used for accountability • Available in grades 3–8 and for mathematics only • Uses same item types as MCA and is adaptive education.state.mn.us

  6. OLPA Participation • Testing window is October 1 – February 22 • Two testing opportunities per student available • 14 calendar days required between opportunities • Test opportunities expire after 30 days education.state.mn.us

  49. Timeline for Precode Updates • Student enrollment updates submitted in MARSS typically take two days for those students to appear in TIDE • Manually updated or added student records in Precode Student Eligibility typically appear in TIDE the next day education.state.mn.us

Determining Eligibility for Reading and Mathematics GRAD Retests • Use Graduation Data List to determine students who need to test • Verify student is loaded to TIDE before testing • If student is not loaded, enter student MARSS/SSID number in Precode Student Eligibility • Blank demographic fields mean student is not enrolled in MARSS or SSID issues • Another precode record or manual change may be used instead education.state.mn.us
