  2. LT DECA Membership T-shirts • If you have paid your $50 dues, see an officer to get your t-shirt. Sign the list to verify you received your shirt. • Officers will give you the size you signed up for online.

  3. Membership #’s • 156 DECA members have turned in Club permission forms to Mrs. Wristers • 104 DECA members have signed up online • 49 DECA members have paid dues • Please sign up online & pay dues by Friday

  4. Don’t forget to sign up! • Pay your dues of $50 by Friday, Oct. 3rd in order to compete at district. NO EXCEPTIONS • Sign up online for membership • http://www.ltisdschools.org/Page/16677 • Competition Sign Sheet due by Oct. 3rd: http://www.ltisdschools.org/Page/16681

  5. Competition Form Deadline is Oct 3rd to Mrs. Oates • 1-3 per group (depending on which event) • Write a 5-30 pg. paper • Give an oral presentation (10-15 min) • Some events include a 100 question test

  6. Events include: • Fashion • Advertising • Sports and Entertainment Marketing • Hospitality and Tourism • Entrepreneurship • Finance Go to www.deca.org for more information!

  7. Competition Dates • District:January 23-24, 2015 (Copperas Cove High School) • State:February 25-27, 2015 (Dallas) • Internationals:April 25-28, 2015 (DISNEY WORLD in Orlando, FL)

  10. Just Keep Golfing Tournament/ Fundraiser • Last year LT DECA raised $8,000 for competition travel expenses • Need sponsors and players/ Nov. 16, 2014 • $150 per player • $500 per team • Sponsors and Donations welcome • ALL COMPETITORS MUST GET AT LEAST ONE PLAYER OR SPONSOR
