Ammonia Unloading PPE • The PPE ensemble for connection and disconnection of transport containers unloaded into the ammonia storage tanks for Units III & IV: • DuPont Tychem CPF-3 chemical protective clothing • Bib-overall style pants • Jacket • Hood/chest protection • OnGuard White PVC boots • MSA Type N-P100 Gas Mask • Best Mfg. Co. Viton gloves • PVC glove rings • Nylon hose clamps [Herbie clamps]

Ammonia Unloading PPE • The Ansell Kevlar cut-resistant knit glove worn over a Best Mfg Co Ultimate N-Dex glove and under the Viton outer glove is recommended but not required. • The other items shown in this presentation are required components of the PPE ensemble. • Employees routinely expected to do this work should have these items issued to them.

  4. PPE Accessories • This bag was designed to carry the PPE required for ammonia unloading; however, no additional bags will be acquired by SGS Safety & Health Services at this time.
