Strategic Planning • “…is the systematic outcome of a thinking process that enables libraries…to organize efforts…to carry out major decisions….Libraries…as customer-focused organizations develop services to meet their needs and also market to non-users who are potential customers.” • “…Must start with the customer.” (Stueart & Moran, 2007, p. 96).

  3. Strategic Plan: Vision 2023

  4. West View Recreation Center “Incorporate a separate building housing a Mature Adult Resource Center, Branch Library, Cultural Activities Center, Teen Center…to create a campus atmosphere for the recreational needs of everyone.” (p. FPR-30).

  5. Organizational Goals “Equitably meet the needs of Library patrons… Provide programming that is responsive to the changing needs of the community.” (p. 3).

  6. Objective 4 “Each year, Staff will review and respond to the changing needs in our community. Keep this plan as a changing organic document.” (p. 12).
