  7. Form Behavior • Recommendation: don’t use mouse, use shortcuts • Enter = Down = Tab (next field, next page) • Up = Shift-Tab (previous field) • PageUp/PageDown = • F1 for help • F3 for table selection • Alt-X = Confirm and close • Esc = Abort / cancel / escape

EMDIS Items of a Patient • Patient EMDIS diagnosis (DG EMDIS) – the patient diagnosis according to the EMDIS nomenclature. • Patient date of diagnosis - the date of the diagnosis determination • Disease phase - an optional item • Weight – the weight of the patient in kg, an optional item • Patient CMV status - an optional item • Grafting physician ID – the identifier of the doctor of the EMDIS center, an optional item

  21. DNA Validation • Program remembers fields that failed validation • Unvalidated fields may be validated later • An un-validated patient can't be sent to EMDIS • Each typing update must be validated.

  22. DNA Validation • You can also validate the DNA fields of a patient record immediately when the patient record is open : Go to the patient menu and then press “validate”:

  23. Validation task list • Patients with incomplete validation are listed using the records to be validated tool in the patient menu

  25. Attached Files Prometheus allows the attachment of external files to the patient record • Files can be of any windows supported format • Files can be retrieved from the patient record • Files may be linked to a specific donor

Stacks A stack is a set or group of patients • A stack is user orientated, I can see only my own stacks • Each user has three stacks to work with Stack may serve as my donor list I am currently working with. • Stack can serve for special reports • Stacks may serve for research – multiple searches, comparisons etc.

  29. Reports (printed reports) Patient reports – Reports button or Patient Menu → Reports • Reports for single patient records. • Special reports (statistics) • Stack related reports Reports may be printed or saved in PDF format.

  31. Analytical Tool Creates a table of all your Patients • Many patient field to select from • Fields may be used for filtering and sorting • Filters may be combined, i.e. several filters active at the same time • Custom filter building • List may be exported • Patients loaded into stacks
