  2. How to find the « Writing skills » website? • In Google or Yahoo (or other search engines): type « index writing skills » between quotation marks • The full address is: http://www2.ulg.ac.be/facphl/uer/d-german/remed/index.htm

Interactive exercises • An example of an interactive exercise: http://www2.ulg.ac.be/facphl/uer/d-german/remed/linkwords.htm • ULg "identifiant" and "mot de passe" needed • Interactive exercises need not be sent – only the NON interactive exercises must be sent to daniel.janssens@ulg.ac.be (see next slide)

The Links • Online dictionaries (all English-always read examples given, e.g. interest) • Online translating dictionary (French-English: double-check) • Always check phonetic transcription (Macmillan dictionary) • Concordancer (useful to check usage, e.g. interested) • False friends (e.g. French: actuellement vs actually) • Grammar • Plagiarism
