  2. 2 Corinthians 4:18 …we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

  3. Galatians 5:16-25 • So I say, walk in the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. • For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. • But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

  4. The acts of the sinful nature are obvious …… • But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace ... • ..since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

  6. ……the Spirit • Walk in = what you do • Led by = direction • How you make decisions • How you hear God • Knowledge • Gifts • Inner voice

  7. ……the Spirit • Walk in = what you do • Led by = direction • Live in = alive / aware of • Keep in step with= stay in position as you march

  8. Aware of two worlds • Being conscious of the physical and spiritual • For we walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)

  11. Galatians 6:7-8 • Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. • The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
