Effective Categorization and Screening Methodology for Project Prioritization

This methodology developed by Erwin A. Alampay at UP-NCPAG aids in aligning projects with Program Development Statements and EGMP, identifying related projects and gaps, and allowing ranking based on categories. The Decision Logic Tree system focuses on unique project requirements and is specific to system plantilla/employee use. It involves following the DBM formula for Computers & Infrastructure and includes internal and external assessments, with a separate review if necessary. The methodology allows for continuation with allocated budget, applying scoring and ranking, with final evaluation and approval by the Steering Committee. The scoring system ranges from 3 to 36 points, subject to weight sensitivities, ranking new and underdeveloped projects, funding for existing ICT systems, and scaling up/upgrading ICT systems.
