  2. Laura’s Law & History About Me My name is Laura Lema a Paralegal Student at New York City College of Technology (CUNY). As a Native New Yorker, I have been exposed to many cultures from around the world and tolerate other’s political point of view, religion and respect their opinions.

  3. Mission Statement We are a prideful nation and patriotic of our unique sense of individualism, but there are reasons why we are celebratory. People, like you and I, in a different time, where there were different laws and view points, stood up and fought for their rights; we should celebrate knowing the details of how they came about. I want people to open their eyes and mind and question what they have read in class, television, textbooks and even my blog, nonetheless, question everything.

Blog Series Post My Blog Series Post is entitled “How the Supreme Court Works.” It is about how the U.S Supreme Court derived, how cases get picked in order for the court to entertain, and how decisions are made. It emphasizes the importance of the Judicial Branch of the government, despite it’s original importance implemented by the frame workers of the Constitution.

  6. Guest Blogging! I have written a blog entry on my peers about the shortage of limes that we are facing today, called “limapocalypse.” I strongly encourage you to take a gander!

  7. Conclusion Laura’s Law & History emphasizes the dynamics of how the law and history intertwine, and I hope people see the direct correlation between the two. My readers should understand that historical events occurred in the past which are now the reason we all have access to the freedom we practice today. I hope my blog was user-friendly and easy to read and possibly have inspired others to read the books I have suggested for it is important to put life into content. And also I would gladly accept any recommendations from you, my peers.
