  3. Free Verse • Repetitive beginning. • The poem is as long as you want. • It does not have to have a rhyme pattern • It does not have to have any structure. Next

  4. Your task • You are to write a free verse poem about who you are. • I am poem- 3 stanzas of 5 lines. • Follow the sheet given to you as a guide so that you write it in the correct form. • Once you typed up your rough draft, bring it to me so we can look over it together. Guide

  5. Guideline • First stanza • I am ( 2 special characteristics you have) • I wonder (something of curiosity) • I hear ( a sound you usually hear) • I want ( something you want) • I am (first line repeated) Second Stanza
