Workshop 3 – grid workshop Learning objective • Delegates to be familiar with available classes of pre-insulin treatment options Learning outcomes • Improved ability to choose most appropriate pre-insulin treatment option individualised to the patient Method/workshop flow • Ask delegates to work in small groups (eg 2 or 3) • Ask delegates to complete the grid, using the information they have heard within the course or from previous, existing knowledge/experience • Final check against ‘approved’ version to ensure data they have entered is correct • Ensure any errors are discussed if necessary – reviewing relevant section of the course Tools • Laminated cards of completed grids • Paper copies of grid for delegates to complete Duration • 20 minutes UK/ME/0310/0008 Date of prep: March 2010
