Redeemers Leadership Institute(RLI) • RLI was the vision of Pastor James Fadele, RCCGNA Chairman, Board of Coordinators • Need: to develop effective spiritual leaders in RCCGNA • Qualities: Integrity & excellent spirit within the context of North America • RLI was incorporated in 2007 & started operation in 2008 RLI_01/2011

  9. Redeemers Leadership Institute(RLI) • Training provided to 380 in 2008; 2678 in 2009 and 2054 in 2010, 3104 from January to date. • RLI has extended its services beyond the shores of RCCGNA. Leadership Development • Leadership Development is the intentional process of: • Helping established and emerging leaders at every level of ministry • Assessing and developing Christian character • Acquiring, reinforcing and refining ministry knowledge and skills” (Malphurs & Mancini, 2005) RLI_01/2011

Leadership Development Process • Develop new and current leaders in the 4 core leadership competencies: • Character –being (soul work) • 2 Tim. 2:2: competent, trustworthy and teachable • Leadership knowledge –knowing (head work) • What must the leader know to lead • Skills-doing (hand work) • Hard or task skills & soft or relational skills • Emotions-feeling (heart work) • Recognize theirs & others’ emotions • Identify the emotions & Manage the emotions RLI_01/2011
