  4. It is a very independent colony. The war between Dutch and the English was at Delaware and the English defeated the Dutch. Here the land is flat or gently rolling . Delaware lies on the coastal plain. There are lots of bridges to get to place to place. Land and Resources Of Delaware

  5. Delaware was the first state to ratify the constitution and it became a state in 1787 Delaware is the one of the middle colonies. People came around the middle colonies at the1600s and 1700s. They called the middle colonies the “Breadbasket”. There were jobs like tailors and wigmakers those were the most popular jobs in the1700’s. UNIQUE FACTS

  6. Carpenter Materials:Tools,saw ,broad wax , hammer ,awl ,mallet , plane , scribe , drawknife , gimlet and a froe. Carpenters built with oak, locust tulip , poplar , yellow pine , cypress , juniper , oak chestnut. They carved moldings , framed walls , raised rafters , and nailed weatherboard.
