Students, you already know that a sentence must have a punctuation mark at the end like the sentences above. Punctuation marks are like stop signs at the end of a sentence that tell us to stop because the sentence is finished. Punctuation marks can also be in the middle of a sentence such as in sentence #3. These punctuation marks are called commas. Today, we will use commas for items in a series.
