Partners located outside obj. 1 or eligible area Solution: Only partners which administration is clearly located in the eligible programme area or the objective 1 area are entitled to apply under the BSR INTERREG IIIB programme or for ERDF co-financing of up to 75 % • Legal Basis: • INTERREG III Guideline: Objective - cooperation between authorities • Commission Regl. (EC) 1685/2000: Rule 12 „...operations [cooperation between authorities] shall be located in the region to which the assistance relates • Communication between the EC (Niels Bjerring-Hansen) and the JS: „...the project partners should all be located within the IIIB area“ However: Authorities outside the eligible areas (programme or obj. 1 areas) can be contracted by a partner within the eligible areas to deliver a service or the Know-How
