What is Beauty? By: Ilea Low For this assignment I was suppose to take several pictures with a topic in mind. I then edited them using Picasa and made a slideshow displaying my results side by side.
Beauty is defined as Cropped Tint (with a grey shade) Straightened
Saturation Shadow Fill light Crop Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but there are just some things that, I think, should define beauty, like…
…Waterfalls I first did the saturation, and then the graduated tint with the shadow darker on the rock. I then cropped it to show the most color and closer to the water fall.
…Buildings I cropped the pictures just so the temple was showing, then I did the sepia. Next I did some tunning using the fill lights, shadows, and color temperature. Then I added the name of the temple.
…The small and simple things • Crop • Warmify • Glow
…Weather I first did the warmify and then I changed the color temperature as well as the highlights.
… • Rotated • Cropped • Black and white • Colored flower • Added the 'babies’ and Happiness
…A busy bee • Crop • Sharpen to give it a rough look • Straighten
Started with the soft focus, then did the black and white focal, I then just did a little of the highlights. The last thing I did was crop it. …Flowers
Crop • Black and white • Shadow
I took a close up of a single flower from the previous slide and just did the glow to add a little more color and brightness.
…Light I rotated the picture and used the sepia. Then I used the shadow and the fill light. Then I straightened it on a slight angle.
…Love • Crop • Auto Contrast • A little shadow • A little Color temperature
…Food I first cropped it, then straightened so it is on a slight angle. Then I did the neutral color.
…Accomplishment Crop, and focal black and white
… I first did the red eye to make her look less alien, and I cropped it. Then I used the sepia and then used the shadow to make her look more black.
