  2. The expansion of the Rompetrol Group in the latest years determined a reorganization of the entire business into a flexible and more functional structure. Therefore, the 40 companies of the Group were distributed in four core operations Business Units: Refining/Petrochemicals, Retail, Trading and Business Development. The main objective of the Refining and Petrochemicals division is to become the most productive and innovative refining system in Central and Southeast Europe. The Retail business unit is one of the core structures of The Rompetrol Group. The main objective of the Group is to become the market leader in Romania and to rank among the top players in its foreign markets, subsequently raising the value of the Rompetrol brand. Thus, the Retail division employs a dynamic strategy and a performance-driven management to support the development of distribution networks and integration of auxiliary commercial activities. Our integrated approach: business units The Trading division is in charge with optimizing the entire distribution chain (from raw materials supply to sale of final product) of Rompetrol Group, whose operations span from the Caspian Sea to the Mediterranean. The Rompetrol Group Corporate Development is a unit composed of Rompetrol’s Upstream activity and Energy-related Services Companies. Rompetrol Upstream is in charge of the Group’s drilling operations, well services, as well as exploration and production activities. The activity of the services companies is a major component of the effort to develop and improve group operations, as well as a profitable alternative to outsourcing.

  4. Rompetrol Upstream: coordinates the E&P, Drilling and Well services of the Group in Romania and internationally. It operates in Romania, Kazakhstan, Middle East and Northern Africa. Rompetrol Well Services: offers specialized services of well drilling for crude oil and natural gas extraction. Drilling Department: Drilling and workover services are Rompetrol’s field of action in which it has accumulated the largest and most extensive work experience. E&P Department controls exploration and production licenses for blocks Satu Mare and Zegujani and exploration for Gresu, Nereju, Focsani. Corporate Development – Upstream and Services Companies • Rominserv: The general contractor of the Group integrates industrial maintenance services, project management, technical and technological development services. • Rominserv Valves: Specialized in the design, production and distribution of a wide range of industrial cast iron, steel fittings and safety valves. • Palplast: Manufacturer of high-density polyethylene pipes and fittings with a wide range of applications, as well as sprinkler and drip irrigation systems. • Ecomasteroffers a complete portfolio of • industrial ecology services, collect, deposit, • treat, clear and even a plan of the dangerous • wastes.
