  1. The teacher sets the objective of the lesson to get to know the physical, psychological, political, historical or metaphorical meaning and diversity of the subject „borders“. The teacher gives a theoretical and practical introduction into the technic of woodcut and explains the tools and their safe handling during cutting. Pupils learn together understanding the meaning and purpose of boundaries. Pupils learn to get known togehther the techniques that they can use when making a woodcut or during the printing process. Pupils present each other their print works during the marketplace. Participants brainstorm different ideas for their understanding of boundaries. Pupils develop a deeper understanding of the concept oft borders. Pupils develop their image and objective of their graphics. Teacher centered Independent Cooperative Project Conditions • Arts classroom • Groups of maximum 20 pupils workshop • 3 Lessons of 120 minutes • Various materials (pencils, paper, printing ink, wood panels, graving tools, roller, safety boards) needed for the different techniques and steps • presentation boards on the marketplace to present the final works of the students responsible persevering reflective classical cooperative independent T I C P
