  2. ABOUT US Piha Surf Academy has been founded and developed on a goal to enlighten and inspire all in their surfing journey. The team at Piha Surf Academy share a passion for surfing, we came together through the love of teaching others. Piha Surf Academy is a locally owned small business by a family based in Piha. We have some amazing instructors that surf competitively and bring a range of knowledge and expertise to all lessons. The academy has been carefully constructed to meet the needs of all, we cater for children, adults, beginners and advanced surfers. Through our programme we aim in fostering relationships with the water, individualised and progressive lessons and to provide a support network of keen surfers. The team at Piha Surf Academy are committed to providing a safe and fun environment for surfing, we ensure the highest standards of surf safety, comprehensive coaching and qualified staff.

GROM PROGRAMMES | KIDS SURF LESSONS Our gromprogrammes have been created for kids to develop a relationship with water, to learn to surf and improve across all levels and to develop confidence in themselves and in the water. Our programmes are all carefully designed to meet the needs of children aged 5-18years. Our staff are all experienced and are trained to engage and motivate children on their journey to learning to surf.

  4. School Term Surf Programme: Our school term gromprogramme is a fantastic way to make friends, to keep active, maintain and improve surfing techniques and skills for children 5-17. Our programme is designed to build confidence and knowledge in the water. Groms joining our full term training will have an Individualized progressive plan ensuring adequate support.

  5. Available: Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Term 4 - Intake 1 14th October (4- 8 week programme) Term 4 - Intake 2 19th November (4-week programme) School Holiday Surf Programme: SessionalProgramme Available: (2 hours per day) 2018 | 2019 2 Day Kids Holiday Programme | 28th - 29th of December2 Day Kids Holiday Programme | 3rd - 4th of January3 Day Kids Holiday Programme | 7th - 9th of January3 Day Kids Holiday Programme | 14th - 16th of January Full Day Programme Available: (9am-2pm) 2018 | 2019 18th of January 21st of January 23rd of January
