  4. FORM The position of these adverbs is: • before the main verb

  5. FORM • after a form of to be am, are, is (was, were)

  6. ALWAYS Dilara always plays the piano. They always go on a picnic.

  7. USUALLY Peter can usually play football. She usually eats some chocolate.

  8. OFTEN She often goes shopping. Fred often eats hamburger.

  9. SOMETIMES He is sometimes late for work. Grandma sometimes bakes cookies.

  10. RARELY Grouchy Smurf rarely smiles to others. The dog rarely sleeps at nights.

  11. HARDLY EVER Peter hardly ever travels by train. Sarah hardly ever wastes money.

  12. NEVER He never smokes a cigarette. It is never hot in the Pole.
