  2. Variety of pitching machines are available according to the different types of sports. • Working mechanism of pitching machine changes with the type and size of ball use for playing.

  3. Scoop Machines • Ball is loaded into a scoop and hydraulics machines are used to drive the ball. • Speed to pitch the ball can be vary using the pitching machine program.

  4. Wheel Machines • Wheel pitching machine do not have the scoop. • Ball is pass on to wheel manually by hand or with the help of automated machine. • Hydraulics are used to power the wheels and wheel propel the ball towards batter.

  5. Cannon Machines • It is usually a softball pitching machine and specially used for pitching tennis ball. • A ball is feed into the chute of the cannon and hydraulics drive the ball at selected speed.

  6. These are the different working mechanism of pitching machine. • Multiple types of pitching machine such as softball, baseball and youth pitching machines are manufactured according to the hitting techniques.
