Obstacles with wind energy development • The value of energy is an important consideration in every wind energy project because it has direct impact on the project’s economics • Hull considered building more wind turbines but the cost of building the new turbines was to high to gain benefit to the residents of hull – the taxpayers would be paying more then the new turbines would be making.

  4. Issues with current Wind turbine • Noise level • In Mary 2012 the Wine turbines were shut off in Falmouth because of the many complaints of residents living in close proximity to the turbines • Some home owners near wind turbines are also say the wind turbines are creating health issues

  5. How to make wind turbines more effective • Make the turbines more cost effective so the residents of a community are receiving benefits through lower electricity costs • Make the turbines so the noise level is at a minimum
