They two main drivers are: • The ability to commercialise new ideas and create markets for innovative products. • The ability to start and run new enterprises in order to fostering innovation. • The E&I uses 9 variables to measure different aspects of these critical abilities • The E&I sub-index assesses which countries will be producing the most innovative products and fostering entrepreneurship in the near future.
